About Hajipur Bihar.

21km from Patna there is a city called Hajipur, it’s located in the center of the Bihar state. Hajipur is the second-largest economically developed region of Bihar located in the Vaishali district of the state. It’s known as Mahatma Gandhi Setu and its agriculture includes the production of mango, litchi, and banana. Bananas here are famous all over the world, they are also exported to other states and countries.

The city is named after a mausoleum Haji-Pir which was the tomb of Haji Shamsuddin Ilyas Shah, a Bengali king who founded Hajipur. According to the census, in the year 2011, about “1 lakh 47 thousand” people lived here, with a ratio of 892 females for every 1000 males.
