Bhopal is a well-known and famous city located in Madhya Pradesh. It is known for its immense lakes, most of which are self-made and some are also man-made. Along with being the capital of Madhya Pradesh, it is also the greenest city in India and its name also comes in the largest cities of India.

Before 1972, it used to be a part of the Sehore district, which was declared a separate independent district in 1972. Since the 11th century when the foundation stone of this city was laid, it has been known by many names like Bhojpal, Bhupal, and finally Bhopal. Apart from having many good histories of this city, many bad incidents have also happened. The biggest incident happened in 1984, in which dangerous gases started leaking due to some reason from a chemical industry located here.

Due to this, an estimated 16000 people died. The city will never forget that dark day. According to the 2011 census, more than “17 lakh 98 thousand” people live here, where there is a sex ratio of 920 females for every 1000 males. Most of the people here use Hindi and some people Urdu, Marathi, Gujarati, and English languages ​​in their daily life.
